Recently, Son Ha Trading and Mechanical Co., Ltd. has been honored to undertake the repair and maintenance works for the Brunei Fertilizer Industries (BFI) Project – one of the leading fertilizer complexes in Southeast Asia.
Brunei Fertilizer Industries (BFI) is a major project initiated by the Government of Brunei to produce ammonia and granular urea, located in the Sungai Liang Industrial Park. Established in 2013 and commencing production in 2022, BFI has an annual capacity of 1.365 million tons of urea, making it one of the largest single-train fertilizer plants in Southeast Asia. It plays a strategic role in the region’s chemical and agricultural industries.
With a team of skilled engineers, specialists, and workers, Son Ha has been carrying out the work in strict compliance with international safety and quality standards. To date, the project has reached approximately 95% completion, marking an important milestone that reaffirms the company’s credibility and expertise in large-scale industrial construction and maintenance.
